The History of Anthony's Ristorante

Anthony’s Ristorante was established in 2006 by Tony and Katy Rizzo.

Tony was raised in Star Lake, WI. He graduated high school in Eagle River WI. Tony was raised on a fishing resort on the blue waters of Star Lake, WI. He was born to the famous Musky guide Tony Rizzo and his wife Lee. Upon graduation, he owned and operated Rizzo Tackle Co. manufacturing and selling Musky lures with his dad. In 1997, Tony decided to follow his own dreams and decided to enroll in Nicolet Technical College Culinary Arts program. That’s where he met his bride and where the real story begins.

Katy grew up in Tomahawk, WI. She also enrolled at Nicolet College Culinary Arts program. Upon graduation Tony and Katy decided to marry in 1999. Soon their son Quinten was born.

It was always Tony and Katy’s dream to open a restaurant. In 2006 that opportunity arose. They were able to purchase the historic Milwaukee Railroad Depot building that already housed many failed restaurants. With a hope, a wish, and prayer and a lot of hard work Tony and Katy opened the restaurant.
